Our Story

Artline is an international brand made by Japanese organization, Shachihata. From its humble beginnings in 1925 with a range of stamping products, Shachihata is now renowned the world over for making premium pens, markers and stamp pads.

Shachihata has actively sought to set high quality standard for its products whilst maintaining its concern for the environment. In 1999 Shachihata obtained the ISO 9001 Quality Assurance System Certification for its marking pens and stamps and in 2000 was also awarded the ISO 14001 Certification for its environmental management system. As such, Artline customers can rest assured they are purchasing responsibly manufactured products of the highest quality.

In Australia, Artline products are imported and distributed to retailers by Pelikan Artline Pty Ltd. Pelikan Artline are also the proud authors of the Australia Artline web site.
